UAMC Introduces Kids to Nursing at Camp Scrubs
Camp Scrubs

UANews | Camp Scrubs, hosted by The University of Arizona Medical Center-University Campus and Arizona Youth University, introduces seventh and eighth graders to the nursing profession. Activities include shadowing working nurses, meeting with members of the local fire department, safety training and CPR certification.

AYU Robotics Camp
Robotics Camp

Explore sensor and sound options while working on your own robotics project! Lectures will cover the concept of speed using gears, belts, pulleys, ramp angles, and forces, while the team challenge will be to design a car/robot that can climb a ramp at the largest calculated angle. Students will get hands-on experience testing and using the concepts they learn.
