The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Arizona is a non-profit organization created to meet the needs of individuals 50 years of age and older who have a love of learning and wish to pursue it with other like-minded individuals.
OLLI Offers Something for Everyone:
- Three campuses in Southern Arizona: Tucson, Northwest Tucson, and Green Valley.
- Classes are diverse enough to meet anyone's taste. Topics have included literature, art, theater, film, science, history, politics, and more.
- Classes meet during the day and may last a single day, several weeks, or a full semester.
- A number of social activities throughout the year create an atmosphere of fun and community for members.
OLLI is a Participatory Organization:
- Classes are taught by knowledgeable OLLI volunteers, supplemented by community experts and University of Arizona faculty.
- Classes are informal, discussions are lively, and everyone is encouraged to share their views.
- Members may become more actively involved by giving supplementary presentations in class or even become a study group leader.
- Members may also volunteer to serve on a campus council or committee.
There is a place for everyone in OLLI – there is a place for YOU!
We invite you to explore our website and learn what each campus has to offer. You are also invited to attend a campus Information Meeting. If you have questions, please email us at ollimail@email.arizona.edu or call 520-626-9039.
