UA Evening & Weekend:

Admission & Registration

Admission to the University of Arizona
You need to be admitted to the UA before you can register for classes. Application forms are available from UA Evening & Weekend. Call 520-626-2073 or stop by the office, located in the University Services Bldg., Room 322, 888 N. Euclid Ave. Parking is available in the Main Gate garage next door. If you have missed the deadline for admission as a degree-seeking student, you may apply as a nondegree-seeking student. UA Evening & Weekend staff can help you with admission forms and deadlines.

UA Evening & Weekend Seat Allocation Policy
The mission of UA Evening & Weekend is to support students in earning a UA degree outside of regular business hours. Central to this mission, we are charged with assisting students with day time weekday obligations in accessing courses that fit their restrictive schedules. Seats in Evening & Weekend classes are initially open only to students who can demonstrate a need for evening/weekend sections based on their inability to take classes on weekdays.* This need may be demonstrated through any of the following means:

  • Transcript reflecting past practice of registering for off hour courses
  • Work or military schedule
  • Written statement of child or elder care responsibilities

Students with non-restrictive schedules may be added to a wait list and then be added to Evening & Weekend sections (as availability permits) starting three weeks before the start of each semester.

*Departmental prerequisites and other registration policies also apply.

WebReg
It ’s easy to register through WebReg. WebReg is the University’s Web-based class registration tool, accessible through the password protected Student Link. Once you’ve been admitted to the UA and receive your personal I.D. number, you can register for courses, drop or add courses, and pay tuition and fees with a Visa or MasterCard. For WebReg help, contact the WebReg Help Line at (520) 621-3113, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:45 p.m.
