Who can take courses through the UA UA Evening & Weekend?
You can! If you can’t attend daytime classes; if you’re interested in completing an undergraduate degree; if you’d like to improve your skills, change careers, or expand your knowledge in areas of interest; or if you’re interested in returning to school on a part-time basis, the UA UA Evening & Weekend is for you.
How can I be admitted to UA UA Evening & Weekend?
There is no separate application needed to take advantage of Evening & Weekend programs. For admission to The University of Arizona, see www.admissions.arizona.edu.
How are seats allocated?
The mission of UA Evening & Weekend is to support students in earning a UA degree outside of regular business hours. Central to this mission, we are charged with assisting students with day time weekday obligations in accessing courses that fit their restrictive schedules. Seats in Evening & Weekend classes are initially open only to students who can demonstrate a need for evening/weekend sections based on their inability to take classes on weekdays.* This need may be demonstrated through any of the following means:
Students with non-restrictive schedules may be added to a wait list and then be added to Evening & Weekend sections (as availability permits) starting three weeks before the start of each semester.
*Departmental prerequisites and other registration policies also apply.
Can I transfer credits from other colleges and universities?
Your credits from accredited two-and four-year institutions may be transferable.

Is there a difference between credit for courses offered through UA Evening & Weekend and credit for on-campus daytime courses?
No. The courses are identical. UA Evening & Weekend administers and schedules UA credit courses at times and locations convenient for adult learners.
How much does it cost to take UA UA Evening & Weekend courses?
For courses offered through UA Evening & Weekend, you’ll pay the same tuition and fees as for credit daytime courses. Consult www.bursar.arizona.edu.

Can I receive financial aid for UA Evening & Weekend courses?
You can apply for financial aid if you are a degree-seeking student in good academic standing. Undergraduate students must be enrolled for at least six credit hours to be eligible for financial aid. Consult www.financialaid.arizona.edu.
