What if I don’t have access to a computer to take an online course?
UA Outreach College will have scheduled Open Labs Monday – Thursday to be used by UA Outreach students enrolled in a classroom or online course. The computers must be reserved before coming in to use them. To reserve an Open lab computer, call 626-5091.
Will I receive a Certificate upon Completing an Online Course?
Students will receive a UA Certificate of Completion once they have completed 80% of the course, and in some cases, once they have completed their final project.
Is there a Computer Lab available to UA Outreach Students?
When you take one of our classroom or online courses, you are able to take advantage of our Open Labs. There is a calendar of Open Lab dates and times available in the left panel of the web page under Additional Resources. Parking is not paid for students using the Open Labs.
If I’m taking an Online Course can I get help from a UA Outreach Instructor?
Every month there will instructors available during certain times in the Open Labs. The Open lab calendar will show the dates for the Open Labs and Instructor Mentored Open Labs. Parking is not paid for students using the Open Labs.
How do I get into my online course?
Once you have enrolled in your online course, you will be contacted by the UA Outreach eLearning Advisor and will be given a login and password.
Will I have access to an instructor while taking my online course?
The majority of our online course offerings are instructor-led, with 24 hour access to the instructor. For most online courses UA Outreach College will have scheduled days when an instructor will be available during an open lab to assist online students face-to-face.
How will I know if I’m doing well in my online course?
Throughout most online courses there are assessment tests to help identify areas where a student may need more study.

Cancellation Policy
A full refund, less a 15% processing fee, is provided for students who withdraw from/opt out of a course within 10 days from the date of enrollment. Absolutely NO refunds due to cancellations that occur after 10 days from the date of enrollment will be issued. Within the first 10 days following enrollment, students may transfer without penalty to another course, but they may not apply funds towards other courses after a period of one year.
